Our Story
Gigaflow believes that rapidly building renewable energy capacity is the best way to achieve our carbon-free goals. Distribution-connected resources such as solar, storage and EV charging are a crucial part of this rapid energy transition, but development is being slowed by inefficiencies in the interconnection process:
Nationally, 75% of distributed MWs submitted for interconnection never sign an agreement. In active markets, withdrawal rates are worse - in National Grid (NY), 90% of MWs submitted in 2023 were withdrawn, a 40% increase from 2020
